Man stabbed outside Norms restaurant in Claremont

 

 

CLAREMONT, Calif. (KABC) --

A 55-year-old man was airlifted to a trauma center after being stabbed in the parking lot of a Norms restaurant in Claremont Wednesday.

The incident was reported outside the restaurant in the 800 block of South Indian Hills Boulevard at 9 p.m., Los Angeles County fire officials said.

A chopper landed at Emerson Middle School in Pomona to pick up the patient and transport him to a local trauma center. His condition remains unknown.

Claremont police was also investigating several reports of shots fired near Wheeler Park Wednesday night. It's unclear if the incidents are related.
