Be sure to mark your calendars for this upcoming Friday night. LVLL's annual Skills Competition will take place on Friday, May 1, starting at 5 p.m. at Pelota Park. "Run the Bases," "Around the Horn" and, of course, "Home Run Derby" will be held for all five divisions ("Around the Horn" only in Farm and Major.) Entry to each event is $5 ($10 per four-player "team" in "Around the Horn") and proceeds benefit La Verne Little League. We hope to see you all there for a super fun night at the park!
