48th District Schools' Agriculture & Nutrition Fair

Location: Expo Hall 10, Plaza de las Américas

The agricultural educational fair features thousands of individual and classroom entries from hundreds of schools in the greater Los Angeles area.
Exhibits include art, photography, beneficial insects and worms, birdhouses, crafts, horticulture, hydroponics, mission models, paintings, posters, quilts, quilt blocks, sawhorses, scarecrows, gardens, terrariums and trout-in-the-classroom projects.
The fair brings students, families, educators and community members together to celebrate the achievements of local students (pre-K through high school) and teachers and educates the attendees about the importance of agriculture and nutrition in California.
The Fair is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Spelling Bee, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Admission and parking is free at Gate 9 on White Ave.
