The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority has announced the dates for the upcoming station dedication ceremonies, taking place in August and September 2015. The station dedications will mark substantial completion of construction for the six stations being built as part of the 11.5-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Pasadena to Azusa. The project is on time and on budget to be turned over to Metro for pre-revenue service in late-September 2015. Metro anticipates starting pre-revenue service this Fall, and passenger service in 2016. An opening date has not yet been determined.
You are invited to join the cities, elected officials at all levels of government, the Construction Authority, Metro and other special guests as we dedicate the Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Irwindale and Azusa stations and celebrate the project's overall upcoming completion.
Dedication ceremony dates, and links with more information, are provided below.
We hope you will join us at these milestone events! |
