POMONA, Calif. (KABC) --
Two women died of a suspected drug overdose while attending HARD Summer at the Fairplex in Pomona Saturday, coroner officials said.An 18-year-old woman was transported to Pomona Valley Medical Center after collapsing at the music festival. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 6:04 p.m.
A 19-year-old female was also found unresponsive and transported to Pomona Valley Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 8:10 p.m.
Their identities were not immediately released. Autopsies are expected later this week.
About 65,000 people were expected to attend the sold-out two-day music festival each day, which includes performances by The Weeknd, Jack U, The Chemical Brothers, Dillon Francis, Schoolboy Q and Rae Sremmurd.
HARD Summer was previously held in El Monte and Los Angeles.
