This morning Assemblymember Cheryl Brown and I spent some time with the first responders on the scene of the terrible tragedy in San Bernardino. These fine men and women cared for the victims without any hesitation or protection in an active shooter situation- some of whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with before at AMR. Their work alongside both fire and law enforcement showed how crucial it is that agencies are able to communicate and work together in an emergency. While we continue to keep the victims in our minds, I cannot thank our first responders enough for the work they do on a daily basis.
