Pomona Police Department's Major Crime Task Force Arrest 13 Suspects During an Impromptu Prostitution Sting

NARRATIVE:
On 2/26/16, members of the Pomona Police Department's Major Crime Task Force conducted directed enforcement along the East Holt corridor, which is an area known for prostitution related activity. Using undercover officers as well as uniformed officers, the unit was able to make thirteen arrests in less than four hours. The Pomona Police Department takes a proactive approach in improving the quality of life issues by deterring prostitution and human trafficking in the City of Pomona. Similar sting operations are scheduled to take place in the near future.
