Rail Festival
You're invited to a family celebration of Southern California's railway heritage on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris. The annual Spring Rail Festival will offer families and rail enthusiasts plenty to do and see. There will be special displays, a trolley parade, live entertainment and other activities. Get behind the throttle of a railroad locomotive under an instructor's supervision (there is an additional charge for this activity). The locomotive for this event will be the Union Pacific 942. Train and trolley rides start Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. Ticket prices: Ages 12 and up, $15; ages 5 to 11, $10; and ages 4 and under are free.
