CRIME: 664/187PC - Attempt Murder
VICTIM: Ferrell Lloyd 24 years old Ontario resident
SUSPECT: Unknown
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Blue 2007 Chevrolet Impala 7NGS250 (Stolen from the victim)
UNIT: Major Crimes Unit - Investigative Division
On Monday July 11, 2016 at approximately 3:15am officers responded to a "Shots Fired" call in the 1300 Block of east Pasadena Ave. Upon arrival officers observed Victim Lloyd laying on the street suffering from multiple gunshots to his upper torso. Victim Lloyd was flown to a local hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
Detectives are currently following up on leads and based on information obtained, it is believed that the suspect(s) may be driving the victim's vehicle. The motive for this shooting is still uncertain, although it may be gang related.
