On July 17, 2016 suspects entered the Route 66 Self Storage facility and burglarized the victim's entire storage unit removing an estimated $23,000. worth of personal and household items. Part of the theft was captured on video surveillance showing Fessler and Wilcox removing the victim's property and placing it in their storage unit and trailer, which was also stored on the premises.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspects' storage unit, trailer and residence. On August 18, 2016 detectives from the Burglary Task Force, assisted by the Major Crimes Task Force served the warrants and recovered the victim's property, as well as evidence showing both suspects were actively engaged in the sales of narcotics. The victim responded to both locations to identify and take possession of her property. Suspects were located at their residence and taken into custody without incident.
