In the 1880s, Richard Gird built a private railway from Chino to Ontario. The line extended from East Main Street in Ontario, south along the middle of Euclid Avenue for two miles. Competition with the Southern Pacific Railroad put the railway out of business in 1901 and the tracks were removed. #125to125 #CelebrateOntario
