The final month of the year means holiday events and festivities celebrating the start of 2017. Our December calendar offers a few beer and wine tasting suggestions to keep you busy during the days leading up to and surrounding the holidays. Be careful out there and always designate a driver or arrange a ride. Cheers!

12/3, Mettle of Valor Release Fundraiser, No Clue Brew, 9037 Arrow Route, Suite 170, Rancho Cucamonga, noon-9 p.m., Commemorating the tragic events of 12/2/15 in San Bernardino, No Clue Brew will offer a special beer in honor of first responding officers who are also home brewers. Proceeds will be donated to families of the San Bernardino terrorist attack victims.
12/3, Inaugural Blues, Brews and BBQ, Sons of Liberty Aleworks, 1780 Town and Country Dr., #101, Norco. 2-11 p.m. Event supports nonprofit organization T1D Mod Squad, which provides services for families with Type 1 Diabetes.

12/3, Coats and Cocktails Charity Event, Lordsburg Taphouse and Grill, 2335 D Street, La Verne, 8 p.m., Collecting new and “gently worn” coats to donate to a local mission. Music by Tracy G and Michael Beatty.
12/6, 20^th Anniversary Wine Dinner, Tutti Mangia, 102 Harvard Ave., Claremont, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Tutti Mangia Italian Grill celebrates its 20^th anniversary with a Siduri and Novy wine dinner, including raffles, giveaways and the year-long grand prize sweepstakes, which features a culinary experience for two in Italy. Baldy Battle of the Brews championship with sneak preview of its future canned Mt. Baldy house beer. Discounted early bird lift tickets and season passes will be available to purchase the upcoming Mt. Baldy ski season.

12/17, Hangar 24 Pugafest 2016, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, 1710 Sessums Dr., Redlands. 1:30-11:59 p.m. Hangar 24 will release Pugachev's Cobra 2016 and Pugachev Royale 2016, two of the highest rated high-gravity beers in the world. The event will also feature several past vintages of Pugachev’s Cobra, as well as several one-off Puga variants with special ingredients and/or aging treatments. Free admission. The brewery will be closed to the public before 1:30 p.m.
