Citrus College Is Celebrating Its Centennial! Established in 1915 by local educators under the leadership of Dr. Floyd S. Hayden, Citrus College is the oldest community college in Los Angeles County and fifth oldest in the state. From modest beginnings, the college has grown into the vibrant, diverse, award-winning, and highly respected institution that it is today. As Citrus College continues into its second century under the leadership of Superintendent/President Dr. Geraldine M. Perri, we carry on the tradition of educating our community with excellence. You are invited join us celebrate some of the college’s rich history, learn some fun college news and facts, and to see how the college is developing the workforce, creating leaders and strengthening our community.

Program will be presented by Christina M. Garcia, Director of the Citrus College Foundation. Ms. Garcia is in her third year at the Foundation. She is a Glendora resident and graduated from Azusa Pacific University. Ms. Garcia is a Co-Chair of the Centennial Celebration Committee.
