FREE CHARITY CONCERT TO RAISE MONEY FOR PLANNED PARENTHOOD HOSTED BY DA CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Featuring Live Music from Indie Rock Act RADIOsunshine and Jazz Fusion Band South of Mars

dA Center for the Arts, pillar of the thriving Pomona arts scene, is set to host a charity concert as part of its “Concerts For A Cause” series. Local indie blues/rock act RADIOsunshine will play a set of original tunes, and OC-based South of Mars will play jazz fusion covers of popular tunes. Donations are accepted online and at the door, and proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood.

The concert will be held at 7-9 PM on Friday, February 24th, at the dA Center for the Arts, located at 252 S Main St # D, Pomona, CA 91766. Admissi...on is free but donations are encouraged. Suggested donation $5-10 per person. Planned Parenthood provides crucial healthcare to people in need, and is facing defunding.

This event is the brainchild of Margaret Aichele , the director of the dA, and Robert Maule, a local songwriter and music producer. Robert writes catchy, complex songs in an indie rock style that celebrate the beauty and absurdity of daily life. His friends in jazz fusion band South of Mars will be his backing band as he performs his original songs as RADIOsunshine. Margaret and Robert are firm believers in community, compassion, and artistic expression, and they hope to raise much-needed funds and awareness for Planned Parenthood while bringing members of the community together.
