On Saturday, November 12, 2016, the Cultural Arts Commission and the DPOA hosted the 2016 Chalk Art Festival in Shaun Diamond Plaza in Downtown Pomona. The dull gray concrete sidewalks and plaza tiles were transformed into colorful, pastel pathways. Pomona’s elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as families and professional artists, joined together to create temporary chalk masterpieces.

If it's the first Wednesday of the month, it's the NHRA Museum's Twilight Cruise Night with fun for all ages to enjoy hundreds of hot rods, classic cars and even a few vintage race cars on display.Experience music, food, fun and just $3 to visit the historic Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum after 3 p.m. on cruise nights.
Cruise-ins, $5 entry per car, will receive a ticket for the drawing held during the evening for a chance to win a cash prize. Museum members are free; spectators not cruising in are admitted free to the cruise..

The Dope Open Mics are hosted by The Dope Spot brand in hopes to cultivate an environment where anyone and everyone can express themselves however they like whether it be through Rap, Poetry, Singing, Comedy or even just starting a discussion. We want everyone to feel as though they can come to our Open Mics and work on their craft without feeling intimidated or unwelcomed.
EVENT TIME:
We stress the importance of being at our events on time, so please keep in mind that we will start Sign Ups for the Open Mic at 7pm and the performances will begin promptly at 7:30pm sharp! If you show up after 7:30pm, you can still sign up, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to perform depending on how many performers we have sign up for the night.
ADMISSION:
We only ask a $3 donation, in which all of the proceeds will go to The dA Center for the Arts in order to keep the place up and running and also help us to continue hosting our Open Mics at the venue.
