Police activity on the 2800 Block of North Towne Ave

Pomona Police with the assistance of the LA County Bomb Squad responded to the 2800 blk of N Towne Ave to investigate a suspicious package left in a vacant apartment. The bomb squad determined that the package was not an explosive hazard nor a danger to the community, and recovered the item. The scene was limited to the apartment complex and no public roadways or accesses were impacted.
