Pomona Student Arrested for Criminal Threats

LOCATION:  475 Bangor St. -Pomona High School
 
CRIME:  422 PC- Criminal Threats
 
VICTIM:  Juvenile, 14 year old, Pomona Resident
 
SUSPECT:  Juvenile, 15 year old, Pomona Resident
 
NARRATIVE:
On 2/6/18 at approximately 10:54 AM, the Pomona Police Department received a call from the Pomona Unified School District Security regarding a student at Emerson Middle School who had received a social media video from another student making threats towards him while holding a handgun.  Officers responded to Emerson Middle School as well as Pomona High School to investigate.  The Officer’s investigation led them to the suspect’s residence where they recovered a semi-auto handgun.  The Officers arrested the suspect without incident for 422 PC- Criminal Threats.  There were no threats on the school campus and there is no information that a weapon was ever brought to school.
