Thee old Blacksmith Shop, well it's not Grauman's Theatre, but it will do.

I ride my bike just about everyday, to downtown Pomona, just to see what's going on. There use to be a Blacksmith Shop on 4th St. between Gordon St. and Main St. on the northside of the street, next to the School of Enterprise. But anyway, I seen the guys with jackhammers, and cement cutting saw. What was going on, there was a driveway that use to belong to the blacksmith shop, that use to be located there. The cement driveway had a couple of rows of horseshoe imprints, like the one in the picture. So they were cutting them up and into a dumpster. I asked the guy if he could cut one to size, so I can carry it on my bike, he said no problem. I told him the story about the blacksmith shop, next thing you know it, he was cutting one out for himself. So am glad I went by there that day, or some of Pomona's history would of went into the trash, I wish I could of saved more. So this is the one I got, and it's in my backyard, you can also see how the guy cut it for me. That's why I like going to downtown Pomona, try to save as much history as I can.
