To Catch a Dream in Downtown Pomona

Great picture of downtown Pomona W. Second St. looking east during the Christmas Holidays in the late 1950's. But what I wanted to point out to you, is the Dream Catcher next to the word Cave in the picture.

Here is a close up of the Dream Catcher, and below is a picture of what Dream Catchers look like. But when I use to go with my folks to downtown in the 1960's, we would pass that store which at the time was a jewelry store. And I would look in the windows and see all the fancy jewelry. But looking up I also seen this tile pattern which was above the windows as shown in the picture. Back then I was wondering what the heck is that. I wasn't sure until I seen this picture that I realize what it was, it was a Dream Catcher. The story behind it was that the Native Americans would use these to catch bad dreams while they we're sleeping, I have a couple myself.
OK I just wanted to share this little bit of Pomona's forgotten history, I wonder what ever happened to it?. It could of been something that Pomona Tile could of made.
