Beverly Hills Dog Show

Schedule:
Feb. 29 - March 1
Description:
As it has in various Southland locations nearly every year since the club's inception in 1965, the Kennel Club of Bevelry Hills will once again present two exciting all- bread AKC dog shows for competitors and spectators.
Each show (Saturday and Sunday) of the Kennel Club of Beverly Hills will have an expected entry of about 2,000 dogs from 207 eligible breeds and varieties. Judging begins at 7am Saturday and at 8am Sunday.
  • The AKC National Owner-Handler Series will be held on Saturday and Sunday. This is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited by their owners that are not professional handlers.
  • Junior Showmanship competition for children ages 9-18 will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Entry details are in the premium list.
On Sunday only, the 4-to-6 Month Puppy Class will be held for dogs that are four months of age and over but under six months of age on the day of the event.
Included on the show weekend (Feb. 29 - March 1), in addition to the KCBH all-breed shows on Saturday and Sunday, are several specialty shows (one breed only). In some cases, these are independent shows, in some cases they are supported entries held in conjunction with the all-breed shows.
Admission is free.
NBC Sports will be present at the Saturday KCBH show and will tape features, Groups and Best In Show to be televised on Sunday, April 5 (12:30pm-2pm ET, 9:30am-11:30am PT), as “The Beverly Hills Dog Show Presented by Purina.”  Visit beverlyhillsdogshow.com for additional information.
