Todays picture, "Historic bricks in the street".

This picture was taken in the late 1880's looking east this time, and it looks like it was taken near Gordon St. The tall building to your left, is the First National Bank, located on the northwest corner of Main St. and W, Second St.

If you look real close to the street gutter, you can see a outline of some bricks.

One year, during some much needed street work on W. Second St., they uncovered those bricks that were in the picture. Now these bricks are located between White Ave. and Park Ave. 

I was able to get one of the bricks, and it now sits at the Ebell Club on Holt Ave. here in Pomona.
