Beginning Saturday, May 1st, the Pomona Police Department will resume all parking enforcement duties. This includes the enforcement of street sweeping. Residents are reminded to refer to the street sign on their block for the days and times of parking restrictions, and move their vehicles accordingly.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to accommodate more vehicles needing to park on city streets, street sweeping parking enforcement was temporarily suspended.
Regular and effective street sweeping plays a key role in removing leaves, trash, and particulate debris from city roadways, and preventing these from entering the storm drain system and eventually local rivers and the ocean.
Beginning May 1st, please follow the times on posted street signs.
