Pomona Police Department

During the month of July 2021, Officers from our Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking Team (SET Team) made 42 arrests for prostitution related offenses (3 males and 39 females). 3 females were arrested multiple times during this timeframe. Many of the females live out of state and in California cities outside of Pomona. From January 2021 to present, our SET Team has made nearly 300 arrests and rescued 17 victims of human trafficking.

Our Department takes a proactive approach to combating human trafficking and utilizes the assistance of other agencies to provide a victim-centered approach. Our Officers conduct enforcement along the Holt Corridor in hopes to rescue victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888 or via text message to 233733.
