On November 21, the Magical Chinese Lantern Festival returns for the holiday season to Fairplex, CA with its brand-new illuminated displays themed “Blooming Seasons”.

Guests will experience a unique light display inspired by nature. Stunning, bigger and brighter lanterns up to 30 feet high. Includes an 85-foot-wide lantern arch and 100-yard-long spectacular ceramic Chinese Dragon. Imagine a journey-- deep into a vast wonderland filled exotic flowers, trees, insects, mammals, and reptiles in their natural environment. Explore the hillside which features brilliant lanterns depicting the Amazon Jungle.
It’s a spectacular visual representation of the four seasons.

Pictures of the day, first time I'm speechless
Well I came across this today on the northwest corner of Center St. and Gordon St.
A close look at it, it would seem that someone had put this together Or maybe it's alien art. Hmm maybe not, I bet the seniority house on the corner, had something to do with it.
Right on we need more street art, especially alien art, or who ever put this here fine piece together.
Heck I heard a banana taped to the wall was going for 1,000 of dollars, until someone ate it.
Should put a banana in it's hand.

Join us the first Wednesday of the month for an evening of hot rodding fun for the entire family at the NHRA Twilight Cruise. Festivities include music, food vendors and more. Make sure to visit the NHRA museum and gift shop.
Cruise Night hours are 3-7 p.m.; the event is FREE for spectators. Museum admission is FREE after 3 p.m., and Museum members are always FREE!
Cruise-Ins pay $5 entry per car and will receive a ticket for the drawing held during the evening for a chance to win a cash prize! Museum members drive in for free, as well as receiving their chance drawing ticket.
·Open to vehicles 1976 and earlier
·Cruise –In Car parking opens at 2 p.m.
·Only cruise participants will receive a ticket
·No additional tickets sold
·Winners must be present to win
NOTE: The Twilight Cruise starts at 3 p.m., participants will be allowed to park starting at 2 p.m..

Jurassic Quest is America’s largest and most realistic DINOSAUR event. A prehistoric-themed, immersive event where families can walk through the Cretaceous, Jurassic, and Triassic periods and encounter more than 100 painstakingly replicated, true-to-size dinosaurs, Jurassic Quest now also features prehistoric marine animals in our newest exhibit, Ancient Oceans!
Encounter our 50 ft. long moving Megalodon face-to-face. Included with General Admission, the Ancient Oceans exhibit will feature will feature gigantic, moving, water-dwellers from the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Neogene Periods, including the ultimate apex predator of its time, the Megalodon!
Jurassic Quest is the only Dinosaur event that has true to life size dinosaurs. From the very small, to the gigantic, skyscraping dinosaurs that can only be seen at Jurassic Quest events.
Guests can dig up fossils like a real paleontologist, ride a 24-foot-tall Tyrannosaurus rex, learn how prehistoric animals lived at Dino Science stations, enjoy walking dinosaur shows, meet our one-of-a-kind baby dinos, dinosaur themed bounce houses, science stations and a dino cinema! There will also be face painting, crafts and coloring stations, fun photo opportunities and much more.
