Old Town La Verne Fan Fest this Saturday

 

NHRA fans in the Pomona area can check out this weekend’s Fan Fest in Old Town La Verne, California, taking place Saturday, November 3rd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. PT. Old Town La Verne is located at the intersection of “D” Street and 3rd Street.
Among the NHRA stars expected to be on hand are Funny Car points leader Jack Beckman, John and Courtney Force and Jeff Arend, who will all be signing autographs. There will also be race cars on display, including Robert Hight’s Auto Club Mustang display car and nostalgic front-engine dragsters. The event will also feature the La Verne Chamber of Commerce Business Expo.
There will be entertainment for the entire family at the Fan Fest. The band The Ravelers will perform, and food and beverages will be available. Fans will also get a $6 discount for any general-admission or reserved ticket for the Finals using the code from Fan Fest, and will get a goodie bag.
