From October 9-11, 2012, staff from CSL and the Southern California Library Cooperative facilitated nine community conversations in each of the six council districts. Invitations to the community to participate were distributed electronically in English and Spanish to a wide range of community groups and individuals and to the schools. The City and Library also posted information on their websites, and one school posted the information on their electronic message board. Paper copies were also made available in the schools and on the counters of the Library and all of the City's Community Centers.
