Monrovia Preservation Group Raises More Than $26,000 for Carriage Barn Move

The Monrovia Old House Preservation Group raised over $26,000  from 28 different donors to relocate the historic carriage barn, according to the group's website.

"They are to be applauded for their concern over this preservation issue as are all the others who expressed concern over the fate of the structure," the site states.

See photos from the move here.

The new owners will pay to reconstruct the barn after it was taken apart for the move. The MOHPG website will continue to post updates on the progress of the barn.
