Restaurants Making Move Into Claremont

Casa Jimenez Mexican food restaurant has made the move from their Pomona home to Claremont, according to City Manager Tony Ramos.

And they are not the only new eatery.

Ramos says they have received construction plans for the renovation of the old Baker's Square building at 710 S. Indian Hill Blvd.

That could soon be Sanamluang Cafe, offering Thai food. That restaurant would be relocating from Pomona as well, Ramos said.

The city had been preparing to welcome the Petiscos restaurant on West First Street this week. Petiscos was set to offer South American cuisine.
