Truck Strikes 60 Freeway Wall, Affects Holiday Traffic
A pickup truck slammed into a freeway wall on the 60 Monday, prompting a shutdown of one lane to allow firefighters access to the crash, authorities reported.
The crash on the eastbound side, near Hacienda Boulevard, was reported about 9 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Traffic was slowed when the far right lane was shut for fire access, as the roadside is narrow at that spot, the CHP reported.
A tow truck was called to remove the disabled vehicle.
There was no immediate word on injuries or arrests.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
