The city of Claremont's wading pools are now opening.
The community pools opened Monday and will remain in operation through Aug. 23.
Children age 5 and under may use the pool at El Barrio Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Memorial Park Monday through Friday, and Wheeler Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, according to the city.
The pools are open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on their selected days.
