This is the Grand Opening of Sears on Holt Ave. in 1954, now you see those row of trees in the background. My sister was telling me that was a creek back there, and our folk's use to take us there. She said I was only about one year old, but if you go by there today. Like so many creeks that use to flow though Pomona it was turned into a cement wash, as you see it today.
