Forum: Artist Critique Night

artist critique 5June 20, at 6 p.m.
The Museum of Art & History invites you to participate in our Forum: Artist Critique Night in the Hernando and Fran Marroquin Family Classroom. Our guest critic will be Samantha Fields, artist (represented by Western Project in Los Angeles) and Professor of Art at Cal State Northridge.  We encourage all artists to bring one work of art to be critiqued in a casual session among peers. Participants will have two minutes to introduce their work of art. Please come prepared to share a short description of the piece and what you hope to gain from the session. As each art work is discussed, participants will be exposed to a wide variety of artistic approaches, styles, media and feedback, culminating in a greater understanding of the creative process and suggestions on how to further develop one’s work.

Calling All Volunteers!

Volunteer handsThe Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) is always accepting volunteer applications. As a volunteer, you will be an integral part of facilitating a smooth, safe and enjoyable experience for our patrons. There are three categories of volunteers, all of which are detailed in the application.  Each community member who donates their time and energy to the arts will help facilitate enjoyable and memorable experiences for visiting patrons and will be valuable members of the Lancaster Museum of Art and History family.
