Nearly 1,000 Customers Without Electricity After Arcadia Power Outage

A power outage in Arcadia has left nearly 1,000 Southern California Edison customers without electricity Monday afternoon, according to the utility.

The outage was reported at 12:57 p.m. Monday south of Arcadia High School and is being blamed on "equipment problems," the SCE online outage map reports. A total of 986 customers were impacted as of 3 p.m.

"We are testing the lines to help limit the number of customers affected," the site states.

The company estimates power will be restored by 6 p.m.
