A Walnut man riding in an SUV suffered fatal injuries when the vehicle in which he was a passenger went off the I-15 Freeway in Corona and overturned, authorities said.
Pinagpala Ojastro, 58, was pronounced dead at Inland Valley Regional Medical Center, in Wildomar, according to authorities.
The crash happened about 2 p.m. on the Fourth of July on the northbound side of the freeway, just north of Indian Truck Trail, according to the Riverside County Coroner's office.
The SUV went off the road and onto the pavement and then dirt shoulder, spun and overturned; he was not ejected.
