Culver City Landmark Makes Top 25 List of ‘Best Nerd Road Trips’


The Center for Land Use Interpretation on Venice Boulevard is ranked #11 by Popular Science magazine.

Culver City has been called a lot of things, but one local landmark has won the honor of being among the Top 25 Best Nerd Road Trips, compiled by Popular Science magazine.
The Center for Land Use Interpretation has been ranked #11 by the magazine.

Popular Science says of the center located at 9331 Venice Blvd. “The Center for Land Use Interpretation is conducting an ambitious survey of America’s manmade environments. The Center curates rotating exhibitions, like a taxonomy of construction-site office trailers—shown in a temporary on-site office trailer. Visitors may come away with a new perspective on contemporary American civilization.”
