Road Closures Planned For Gold Line Construction


Construction workers will begin a freight track leveling in Azusa and Glendora starting Tuesday, Aug. 6.

The following are planned road closures associated with construction work for the Metro Gold Line extension from Pasadena to the Azusa-Glendora border:
·      City of Azusa - Palm Dr Freight Bridge Relocation: A full closure of Palm Dr is taking place through 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5 for relocation of the Palm Dr freight bridge. This work must take place over the weekend to limit impacts to the freight service through this area. Click here to view the associated construction notice.


Cities of Azusa and Glendora – Freight Track Leveling in Azusa and Glendora: Night (3 p.m. – 12 a.m.) and weekend work along the railroad corridor between Dalton Ave in Azusa and Barranca Ave in Glendora will take place starting next Tuesday, Aug. 6 and will continue through late August. Click here to view the associated construction notice.
