A bear was spotted in a resident's backyard in the 1900 block of Highland Oaks on Saturday afternoon, according to Sgt. Collin Cieadlo of the Arcadia Police Department.
Police responded to the call and went to look for the bear but were unable to find it. As of 5 p.m. the units have left the area, Cieadlo said.
