Ren's Half and Half

 

The picture on the left was taken back in the 1940's. and the picture to the right, is a picture I took a couple of years ago.

And both pictures were taken atop of the Mayfair Hotel. Looking north from Garey Ave. the next cross street is Second St.

When I go out and take pictures, I try to remember some old pictures of Pomona. And try to get as close as I can, to match the old pictures. Sometimes I get it right on the money, and then there are the ones, that are just a bit off. But I think you get the picture, in what I'm trying to show you. What it use to look like, and what it looks like today.
