Where: El Merendero 242 South Garey Ave in Downtown Pomona Why: Meet new people and visit this long standing Pomona classic! They specialize in Mexican dishes but also offer burgers, salads and seafood. John Clifford wrote about it on his  Eating Garey Avenue blog a year or so back.
