More "Art Critters" and more

Well looks like we have more "Art Critters" showing up at the Art Colony here on W. Second St. in Downtown Pomona.

And here is the more, of course what would the good be without the bad. Well I hope who ever these clowns are, there is a security camera. This was at the church on the corner of W. Third St. and Gordon St.

MONTEREY POP FESTIVAL--40 YEARS AGO DOCUMENTARY

Pomona Grove "Blood Oranges and more"

House for Gato

Now what Ren ?

This is what's up, Gato use to just sleep in the box with no cover. So I found this plastic container and cut a door way for the Gato. I was going to cut it off, but I was thinking (look out) if I leave a flap, it will help keep the rain out. Well good thing I did, it rained the other day.

When I would go for my ride in the mornings, someone dropped off 4 kittens, now there is only one left. So I started along with the business where he lives started to feed him.

So Gato is doing pretty well I must say, the people that work there say, when the lunch bell rings, Gato comes running to the lunch room for left overs, lol smart cat. So today it was milk and dry cat food for the day and a some water.

I do what I can to help out, how about you ?

The Pomona Public Library Foundation Needs Your Help

 https://www.pomonalibraryfoundation.org/donation

We need your help to welcome the future of the Pomona Public Library! Please DONATE today.

Though COVID has severely limited our fundraising, we have invested over $65,000.00 – all from private sources - in our library and there is more to be done.

In the coming year with YOUR SUPPORT, we hope to expand our investment, with improvements to our Special Collections, opening a Veterans’ Service Center and a Citizenship Center, and increasing the materials and services available to our local community through the Pomona Public Library.

If you make an annual commitment of $20.00 or more per month via our website, the Foundation will provide you one ticket to our next Mayor’s Gala.

Please join me and the other members of the Foundation Board of Directors in welcoming the future at the Pomona Public Library with your contribution.

Sincerely,

Duane Smith

THE FATHER BILL MOORE LEGACY

Graciela Nardi R.I.P.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Graciela Nardi in her fight with cancer. She was an Artist, Teacher, Founder/Director of The Latino Art Museum and a loving Mother. She is best known for her vibrant and positive energy as well as spending her lifetime helping others achieve dreams and better their lives through community activism, creating opportunities and acts of kindness. Graciela founded the Latino Art Museum 17 years ago in the Pomona Arts Colony and many of her peers would say she is an inspiring example of an immigrant who created a legacy that impacted her community through hard work and dedication. You will be dearly missed. Rest in peace...
