Earlier this week our Field Services Officer Tran responded to a call about a distressed skunk in San Marino. Somehow the adult female’s head was lodged in a hole on the sidewalk. Officer Tran called Darlene, our Wildlife Technician, to the scene to assist. After sedating the animal, Darlene carefully pulled the skunk from the hole. Thanks to Darlene’s actions, the skunk is doing well and will be released soon. The entire rescue was captured on video!
