Pomona Masonic Lodge will hold its first chili cook off on Saturday with 19 teams competing.
Doors open at 10 a.m.
Visitors can attend for $5 and sample some of the chili. Proceeds will go to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Judges include Richard Pink of Pinks Hot Dogs; Los Angeles chefs Jon Shook and Vine Dotolo; and Jonny and Rick, owners of The Addiction Bistro in West Hollywood.
The lodge is at 395 S. Thomas St., Pomona.
